About Me

I am an intersectional activist and CEO of JLPrxjects a multi-branch organisation including the community activism branch CASTLE that seeks to achieve the organisations' overall aim of social change through inclusive community engagement.

Work with InFlow:

At In Flow my role is to empower through education, facilitating discussions, and informative content creation. I lead discussions, workshops, and talks around our course content, and am here to help with any questions you might have regarding the courses and how they work. You can find out more via our collab page linked below, or get in touch via in.flow.est2022@gmail.com

Wider work experience- JLPrxjects and affiliated work:

I founded KASTLE (Kendal Activists Saving The Little Earth), now CASTLE (Community Activists Saving The Little Earth) in 2019. Since then I have worked in the role of CEO, organising and facilitating events and actions within local, national and international communities to make change around the issues facing community members. Working alongside CASTLE members and partners, these projects have included running a 'Picnic for the Planet' climate festival, tree plant projects, litter picks, pledge schemes, and climate protests. CASTLE was the first branch of the organisation, and this has since developed to included other projects including The Marra-Unity Project, and The Global Thought Festival. More details are available at the Linktree below.

I have over five years of experience in public speaking, performance, facilitation, and organisation, and I've worked with organisations including the BBC, COP, and TED. In 2021 I had the opportunity to give a TED Talk titled Shaping Voices, Shaping Change, on the theme of language as a tool for empowerment. Both independently and through my work in the organisation I have been featured in, and run events for organisations like Kendal Mountain Festival, Cumbria Unity Festival, and Lancashire Life. Touching on themes from physics to philosophy, my work always rotates around intersectional activism, and change making in national and international communities.

See below for more content including written, spoken, and filmed content creation from previous projects.

Much of my work has centered around both scientific and creative disciplines. Past projects include films, published books, original music, and content creation, garnering up to 100K views across platforms.

Alongside my work, I am also a student of Global Health and Social Medicine at King's College London. Prior o his I achieved 4A*s a A Level in Sociology, English Literature, English Language, and EPQ, and 9 all A-A** a GCSE.
